26th December WE'RE OPEN NOW! Welcome to Warriors' Dynasty, new members! Sorry for this short update - all I can say is, whoop whoop for the Grand Opening! ^^ I hope to see you making lots of characters and roleplaying RIGHT NOW! Well, not right now, but... you know what I mean =^^=
22nd December The site has just begun - happy birthday, site, you're 0 days old today! I am Mysteryfaith, the owner of the site. I am just building the site, and if you are a guest and you see maintenance mode, it shall be out of its shell soon - hopefully within the next few days, but that's a little expectant. I am the only owner, and I have already considered some administrators for the jobs around the site, but if you think you could manage it, leave me a note and if you don't become an admin, you'll probably become a g-mod. They're just as good, people!
Hope to see you soon, and that you join so you can see the real site in hopefully a few days!
Thanks, Myst. xx.Warriors' Dynasty Owner//
Welcome, little one... I may be an elder of our time, but I know many a tale to tell you. I am glad you have joined this forest, young learner - the Clans are always welcoming to new arrivals, even if some Clans are less welcoming than others. If you're looking for a spot of history about the Clans, visit the Clan Guides board, in the Make A Character board. Yes, we are different to the Clans you know, yet we share the same names. And, I implore you to read the expectations of our forest before you try to make a cat. There is a codeword you will need in there...
Warriors' Dynasty is a literate roleplay for the popular book series Warrior Cats, by Erin Hunter. This website does not own Warrior Cats. Infringement of these copyrights will reward you with a slap with a wet fish. Thank you.
Enjoy your stay, and we hope you learn the ways of the world whilst you roleplay on Warriors' Dynasty. Have a good day!

xx.Plot//
The Clans have had little trouble over the many seasons of peace in the forest when they have lived there. But after these countless moons of unbelievable quiet between the Clans, terror breaks out as the medicine cats and leaders of every Clan have dreams of bloodshed and the Land of Two Streams' estuaries running red with the scarlet lifeblood of cats. But, confused by the dreams, the cats go on with their daily life - unaware of the threat coming to them. A storm is brewing in the forest, and as tensions are high from the dreams a strange litter of loner kittens stumbles into the Clans' grasps. They do not know that these kittens are the beginning of the end of their peaceful status. As each Clan takes a kit, they live for a while nurturing the abnormally powered kittens - until they find a bloodthirsty band behind the kittens' appearance. The Clans are in danger and they must join together to fight the bloodthirsty band in their conquest for power - but how can they defeat them in a rain of terror? A storm is coming... a storm of blood.
xx.Rules//
This side table is dedicated to making sure you know the rules all of the time. So, what are you waiting for? To see the prettier version, go to the rules board - but here is your post-sized version so that when you are posting, you can be sure you aren't violating the Terms of Service of this forest!
Rule One No swearing or cussing on the site.
Rule Two Do not impersonate staff or other members.
Rule Three Only advertise in the advertising board
Rule Four Do not be offensive or disrespectful.
Rule Five Keep a low graphic amount in your posts.
Rule Six Be as kind and thoughtful as you can.
To see the full set of rules, go to the rules board. Thank you!
xx.Weather//
Season: Leafbare
Weather: Snow covering most areas, slight drizzles expected, very slight chance of hail, freezing wind at a high speed.
Humidity: 0%
General Report: After a strange year, Leaffall has settled over the forest. Alas, snow is falling steadily and prey is disappearing quickly. The Clans will struggle this Leafbare as they settle into their new homes and have to cope with the terrors of hardly any prey and very little water that is not frozen. Mothers with lose kits in the harsh season as Whitecough and Greencough take their holds on the chests of the warriors. Elders and kits, beware!
xx.Staff//
/Staff News\
Leader Positions are still open! Being a leader comes with a G-Mod position - which means your staff picture will be put up here! It's an honour. Please apply for them today!
Welcome to the OOC board. Here you can talk about anything within reason and discuss anything. If you are a rabid reader, make a book club! If you're a random adventurer, make a dare post! If you're new, make a welcome post. It's all in the words you say - make sure you obey the rules.
Have you got a spiffy site you want to show everyone on WD? Then go ahead and post it in here. If you're just advertising, post it in the main board. Normal advertising is guest-friendly. But if you want your affiliate icon down in the Affiliate scrolling box on the bottom of the page, you must post in the sub-board and you must put our icon on your site too. Members only for affiliation. Consider these words wisely!
If you don't read these rules (yes, these are the rules just under a different name! =^^=) then you will be strongly acclaimed as a bad kitty! There are some mini rules in the side box just to remind you of the main ones, but here are the real ones that you should read! The side box is just to make sure that when you are posting you can check that what you're saying is not against the main rules. Okay? Then look inside here to get the down-low!
Now, don't feel bad if you aren't staff and can't get into this room. We just discuss boring things like gathering times and other things you probably wouldn't enjoy talking about! And the staff meeting of every fortnight is held here - where we discuss the general site runnings. Not very exciting! If you are staff, there is no password, but you do have to be classed as staff to get into this board. Beware!
Have you got more sites to be on and just can't manage coming on WD as well? Are you off for the holidays for the week? Or do you just need a break? Then post here with the reason you need to leave forever or for a while, and tell us when you'll be back, or if you'll be back. This means if activity checks go on your account will not be deleted or modified. If you are leaving forever (hopefully not!) then you have the choice whether you delete your account or not.
Here you can make a character to roleplay with. You do not have to wait for your character to be accepted to begin to roleplay, but you must use the form, and staff will check the cats submitted every week or so. If we find a fault in your application, we will PM you and politely ask you to modify your character. We will suspend your roleplaying of that particular character until the bio you made is fixed.
Moons of history and knowledge are kept in this area. If the elders have gone, then their tales are all stored here. This also contains the story of the Clans' moves, guides around the Clans and, in a seperate board inside of this one, Clanners' autobiographies of their time in the forest so far. No one can resist hearing the truth about the Clans!
If you've got any inactive characters, then come here to spruce them up. It's good to have around two little plots going at a time (and if you join in the main plot then that would be great too!), and you can make that happen by looking in here. When main plots are going on, information will be posted in this board, but you can post out your own mini-plots, and someone else will come along and arrange a roleplay with you for your mini-plot. Or, it could be the other way around. Happy hunting!
The Mothers of Future Hope scheme was previously used on the site Warrior Cats, but as the idea was dropped there the owner has decided to pick it up here. The main idea is, you make a she-cat (using the form in here, not using the make a character board) and then make it a queen. Then you act out the birthing or the time after birth, and the kits that you roleplay are adoptable by other people who don't want to make a character. For more details, look inside.
If you pad along the shoreline and make a sharp left along a rocky path, you will enter a loosely covered territory of palm trees. As you go closer into the forest they quickly become more packed together, and there is only room for a tail-length between each tree as you reach a thick covering of weeds and brambles. Circling the tall, powerful structure you find an entrance, a small hole in the ground surrounded by brambles. Digging your way in, you find yourself in a bustling camp, cats surrounding you, rushing to their daily duties. Starting from the far left den is the leader's den and announcing spot. It is a bowed tree that lingers over the camp - the only oak in the territory of ThunderClan. Around the back is a nicked slope where the leader climbs round every tricky branch to announce to their Clan. Carved into the huge trunk is a warm, wind-protected hollow space where the leader sleeps.

If a ceremony is needed or if a cat is needed to be added to the board, ask the ThunderClan leader.
When compared to the previous home of ThunderClan, the thought of their presence at a beach is impossible. But, as the territory was left to them by the preferation of the other Clans' homes, they now live beside a beautiful beach. White sand and a clear blue sea accompany a forever-blue sky. The beach is perfect for talking and battle training, but not much prey litters its shores.
Amongst the loosely knit palms far from the camp, prey that used to live in the old ThunderClan territory now lingers here. More exotic birds can be found when cats are hunting and, surprisingly, rabbits like to hide beside the palm trees. Battle training isn't a good idea here, but hunting and talking is. It is close to the borders and the beach.
Amongst the rubble of palm trees morfing into the tall, daunting pines of ShadowClan, a small brook trickles. On the very edge of ShadowClan's border is a small, glistening pool. Both ThunderClan and ShadowClan like to stare into it to ask StarClan questions, but it is officially ThunderClan's territory.
You step away from ThunderClan's border, and the ground feels instantly damper beneath your paws. As you pad along a sandy path, a beautiful golden glow against your fur through the countless willow trees magically casting a beautiful presence against the ground, you spot something rushing in the distance. It is fast and flowing, and just in front of it you see endless figures moving. The RiverClan camp lies extremely close to the river, in a densely collected circle of willows, hardly big enough for you to fit through. As the dens fit around the camp, you see the leader's announcing stand - a fallen willow with scratch marks in it from every announcement the leader's made since their moving to the new forest.

If your cat needs a ceremony or needs to be put up on the board, contact the RiverClan leader.
Since moving to the new forest, RiverClan has learnt to hunt land prey after studying ThunderClan cats from afar. Now they teach it to their apprentices, and use the small area of willow woodland on both sides of their river to practice. Kits also love to play in the damp ground of the forest, instead of playing in the camp.
The river is the pride of RiverClan's territories. Not only is it their namesake, but it is larger and more efficient than the old rivers. It is around thirty tail-lengths wide, and stretches from the pool which the Clan cats gather at into the far unknown. There is a fallen willow tree used to cross the raging river, but there is a danger that non-RiverClan cats will not be used to it and fall in. Some territory on both sides of the river is RiverClan's.
The RiverClan banks are used for training their apprentices how to fish, and of course, a prime fishing spot for themselves. If you head on into the willow woods beyond the banks, there is a small collection of far-spread trees, getting less dense until you reach the open moors - WindClan territory. RiverClan hardly mark this border, knowing the WindClan cats couldn't fish on the bank. But if the WindClan cats did trespass in the night, and manage to cross the log across the river, they would be in a very vulnerable RiverClan camp...
If crossing from the loosely dotted willows of RiverClan, or over the tiny brook that trickles over the ShadowClan border, you will enter clear, plain moorland as far as your eye can see. But, if you trot along a secretly plotted path that even the tiniest kit in WindClan can recognise by their hard-padded paws from running across the grasslands, you will reach a circle of gorse. You can hear from inside wails of kits and commands of warriors to their groaning apprentices to clean out the elders' den. Indeed, it is the WindClan camp. But to keep their camp guarded, WindClan always have a guard by their slim tunnel entrance into the camp - so if they don't recognize you, there's no chance of you getting in.

If there is a cat in this Clan missed from this board, or a cat that needs a ceremony, contact the WindClan leader.
As you enter the wild, unprotected moors of the WindClan territory, it is hard to imagine any cat hunting on this plain earth. There is hardly anything in sight to any other Clans' warriors - but to WindClan cats, there is the world ahead of them. They use these moors primarily for hunting their precious rabbits, and also teach their apprentices hunting skills here. The moors are in plain sight of both boundaries, so any trespassers are caught immediately.
The starry pool lies a little way away from the WindClan camp. A clear path of smooth pebbles leads to it, with none of WindClan's pawmarks needed to locate it. But, when you get there, you'll find that only WindClan cats can see the stars in it - a strange, mystical effect, but even on a starry night cats of other Clans will only see a clear pool, reflecting nothing. WindClan cats will see Silverpelt, though, and come here to ask StarClan questions.
As the nights get colder in Leafbare, so does the cold cavern - a small cavern near the edge of WindClan territory that is hidden slightly underground. WindClan cats hide there in emergencies, like in extremely heavy rain when their camp is flooded, or in fire. No other Clans know about their secret cavern, and they struggle to keep it a secret. It is a quiet place away from the rest of the cat world.
Amongst the rubble of chips of pine and pinecones on the floor of ShadowClan territory, you will find vivid scents of their warriors on a delicate trail to their camp. If you follow it - a very hard and seemingly impossible task - then you find yourself at a huge mass of fallen logs, with odd jutting edges and muddy, dried roots. As you consider turning back, you watch other ShadowClan cats stealthily creep up the jutting edges until they reach the top, where a hole is hidden. Leaping gracefully into the hole, they land in a small, well-protected clearing bathed in light from the large hidden opening at the top. It is the ShadowClan camp, carved out of this amazing collection of fallen pines.

If you need a ceremony for your cat or you need your cat added to this board, contact the ShadowClan leader.
A little beyond the camp is a dense, lush collection of towering pines and other bushes and shrubbery. When ShadowClan came to the territory, they instantly knew that this was the perfect place to hunt. Many items of prey can be found here, and it is a large stretch of land which kits can also play in when their mothers take them out.
Strangely named the furthest point, a large hill lies beside the marshes of ShadowClan. When standing on top of it, any cat can see over every Clans' territory, and beyond. It is even higher than the moors of WindClan, and, in jealousy, the two Clans quarrel constantly over who it belongs to. It is officially ShadowClan's territory, but as they have no use for it and can't catch the rabbits that live on it, WindClan wants it.
The pride and joy of ShadowClan, the marshes home the frogs and lizards that only these hunters of the night can swallow. Constantly found on their fresh-kill pile, rats also live in the marshes, and ShadowClan not only train their apprentices on this soft, peaty ground but also catch half of their daily meals from here. It strangely only has ShadowClan scent, with no scent of rotting or poison.
Many wonder why the sacred gathering place of the Clans is named 'Land of Two Streams'. Well, the river splits into two small streams that run on both sides of ShadowClan's territory. The land in the middle is a glowing area of land surrounded by holly bushes that seperate it from ShadowClan's pine trees and marshes. In its center is a holly-covered hill of grass, with a strange wreath of glowing ferns around it. Only leaders announce here, with their deputies at the foot of the hill. Cats come here every full moon for a gathering. The next gathering is: 22nd January 2009
Another strange name resembles a tall hill not far from WindClan's boundaries, into the depth of the unknown lands for a few fields. Medicine cats at every half-moon clamber up the side of the hill to the top, where a stone temple-like structure with an open roof lies. Climbing up the pillars of this temple is detailed ivy, wrapping its way around the stone - but the ivy is made of ice. Medicine cats press their noses to the cold stone floor to speak to StarClan, and leaders also come here sometimes for advice, and to get their name and lives. The next medicine cats' gathering is: 11th January 2009
Not many Clanners have tred beyond the boundaries of their territory, but for cats who take no interest in the Clans or for felines who live beyond their territory, unaware of their presence, they find it perfectly normal to trot around unmapped lands. Loners and rogues live in these undescribable stretches of land beyond the Clan's reach, and who knows what cats unbound by the warrior code do... Currently, the making of loner bands is on.
Clancats don't have much to do with the Twolegs who inhabit lands far from their own - but for kittypets, that's a different story. Travelling a few fields and a small forest away from the boundaries of ThunderClan lies a fence - a fence that seperates the forest from the soft life of a kittypet. Anonymous Twolegs look after the pampered cats who either long to be in the forest of the Clans or hate it. Some owners worship their cats - but some beat them with moral evil...
